If it's still sitting there while you wait for a reply on this forum, you might be in trouble. Hopefully one of our gurus of the detail shop will come along and try and help you out.

Thumbs up Re: Please HELP me! Touchup paint problem!

Had an occassional splash myself, when touching up rock chip on my two-tone soonercruiser. But, I happen to have Langka Blob Remover on hand. It even did a great job on ones I left a while, missing them that day.

I attempted to remove the paint with paint thinner; as well as nail polish remover. I used little to make sure it would not take off the clear coat or base coat. Nothing so far has worked to remove this giant black stain...! I might be hittin up the body shop down the road and payin the bucks to get it re painted
Thank you all for the help. I appreciate it!

paint thinner is not the same as laquer thinner. why people ask for advice and not follow it, is beyond me.

Yup!
They are different! And that is why I suggested the Langka Blob Remover. Not sure what's in it. But, I tried every other kind of paint solvent I had (amateur artist & house painter), with no luck!

So in order to fix the problem I just found the matching touch up paint; torch red. I used it to cover up the spot temporarily, im tight on funds and will just have to wait it out and repaint the bumper later on.

Thanks again!
