Default what is this and how to clean it???

No clue what this is (was here when we bought it) but we figured we'd be able to get it clean.. and no such luck. It's not raised.. it's almost like it's ink or something.. but we are at a loss. Any clues to using anything to clean it?

There are a few other marks in the leather than look almost like paint, but again, it's not raised.. there's no texture. Any advice is appreciated!

have you tried using goop? it worked for me on the leather in my truck that had perm marker all over the rear seats.

Be careful with leather. First try a leather cleaner!

Looks like the residue from a decal of some sort, maybe off of a helmet or a coffee cup?

Try Goo gone then lexoil-use a toothbrush with the Goo gone and do it in several lifts.

if the color fades you can use SEM leather dye to restore it.

wd40 on a rag. I think the side material is vinyl, not leather. Try a hidden spot first. no guarantees.
