I think they've gotten better.. from what I can tell. I think they were stow a ways from the previous owners yard, so I'm hoping as we kill them they will slowly go away lol

I would go to a local hardware store and pick up a can of Konk. Then just spray inside the car the next time you park it and let it sit. Then when you go to use the car drive a little with the windows down to let the fumes out. Konk will kill anything that's an insect! I keep a can of it handy in my car after I went on a roadtrip in Northern Ontario and stopped at night to use natures restroom and got swarmed by mosquitoes. When I got back in the car several hundred mosquitoes followed me and no, I'm NOT exaggerating that number! I killed mosquitoes for the following 6 hours of driving, at least it kept me awake! Since then there has always been a can of Off and Konk in my car. It's great survival equipment in this area!

Any chance there may be an old burger or slice of pizza stuck somewhere? I don't think they'd hang around if there was no food or water for them. I have found a rogue White Castle in my Ranger from time to time. Hey, with a case of 50, one's bound to escape.

Too funny! As for the ants... If you really want to get rid of them without loading your car down with harmful toxins, go get some diatomaceous earth & sprinkle it everywhere in your car. Not only will it will kill insecets, they will die a horrible death by dehydration. It's like walking on broken glass to them, once it cuts up their exoskeletons they quickly lose moisture from thier bodies & die. When they are all gone, just vaccum it up. Plus it's completle harmless to you & your family. |
