The grill and hood is just a mess of paint chips. There are some on the roof, and there is NO paint on the rocker panel. I'm thinking of doing rockerguard on the rocker and maybe trying to blend in flat black... Dunno. Not looking forward to fixing my paint though. This is a good thread for me to remember.

Yep...see, since I have about a thousand chips on my front bumper...it would have taken me FOREVER to touch up each one....so I suggest you cover entire sections on your bumper....this is what I did...I used the 2 ounce bottle of paint from automotive touch up...it is an exact match! Let is sit for a while, then remove with the blob remover...it works wonders!

BTW, DO NOT USE THE BLOB REMOVER IN A GARAGE! I suggest applying it outside...the fumes are ridic and totally strong!

Ok...just realized that this photo shows the chip marks fairly well. Note...my car is dirty...but these chip marks were totally white. The paint has adhered to them. I have to repaint them...and try not to take off most of the paint!

The bumper was MUCH worse than this!!!!

I'm having a bear of a time with Langka trying to repair chips on metallic paint (08 steel silver). While the product/system does exactly what it says and works beautifully, what it seems to do with metallic paint is remove the metal flake (which I assume rises to the top as it dries) leaving a lighter, non-metallic color in the chip. The good thing is you can remove all the paint from your chip and start again fresh.

I have not tried their "squeegie method" suggested on their site yet, but I fear I will have similar results when I do...

I have had great results with the product. I hav an 03 Steel Blue and an 04 Seamist. I assume that you are using the Chrysler paint touch. It just sounds like to me it is a problem with the touch-up paint and not the Langka Product itself.

My second bottle of silver steel from Chrysler. I returned the first one telling them the color wasnt even close. They ordered me a second bottle NC and said to make sure I shake the heck out of it. The color was fine pre-blob remover, but after I got the same light gray color. It's bumming me out since some a-hole ran a lawn mower next to my new PT!

A little more info - I have NOT sealed it after, fearing once I use the kit's sealer I wont be able to remove the paint underneath.

I recently got a 2002 PT for my wife. The car is in beautiful shape and she loves it, however the person who had it before tried to fix a scratch on the hood. To put it bluntly it looks like crap and they must have used a very big brush or something. There is no way to rub it out, it is way to big a blob. I guess I could sand it out with very fine paper, but would have to repaint the area and the clear coat would be involved. I was wondering if anyone had used the blob remover of this product line for blobs that may have been on for quite some time. Any advise?

Naw...I haven't, just for fresh ones.
