I didn't get the paint from the dealer, instead I purchased it from: Automotivetouchup.com Touch Up Paint, Aerosol Spray Paint and Paint Touch Up Accessories They tell you where to find your color code on your vehicle, since mine is Deep Cran, the code is: PMT/VMT 2003 Chrysler Pt Cruiser Touch Up Paint Colors I'll let yall know how it comes out!

I have used it for small chips in the paint and I love it. Takes getting used to for you to not remove all the paint with the blob remover. Not sure how it will work for just dings (dimples) in the body work. The paint may not have any surface to adhere to, but let us know if it does work.

I buy my touch-up from automotivetouchup.com also.
I posted a whole series on using the Langka products for repairing those nansty rock chips on the front clip on the PTCW site. But, that site is dead for now. ![]() The best part of the system is the Langka Blob Remover. That's the only thing I buy now - can be used with almost all touch-up paints.

I just replaced my sorry luminic bulbs with the Ultra Night Vision Silver Stars! They are sooo much better...took me all day cuz Autozone gave me the 9006 and 9005 instead of the correct 9006XS and 9005XS!!!!! My dad had to think of some way to get those dad-blasted highbeam bulbs in on the driver's side. I was able to install all of the bulbs on the passenger side, but needed some help w/the other. Who knew it took sooo much to change some bulbs!!!??!!!??

I have like a thousand little chips on my front bumper, not exaggerating, and so, I couldn't dab each and every chip. So, I used one of my old paint brushes (small) and basically covered my entire front bumper with my touch up paint. Let it sit on there for about 20 hours and then used the Langka blob remover. It took ALL of that paint off and just left the paint in the chips. I totally got rid of the card that you are supposed to use and just used the cloth provided. Afterward, I used my clearcoat and dabbed some of the larger chips. For the final act, I applied the Langka Paint sealant over the entire bumper (it acts as a wax). It looks great!

Glad you had success; and glad you were smart enough to develope a method that worked for you!!
![]() I tossed the card and other stuff too. A soft rag was the way to go. But, I just had about a hundred chips....so, away went a Saturday.

I have to seriously start thinking about touching up my car. I live in the country which I LOVE, but the gravel road and my car don't get along too well. Not only is the PT squirrelly on gravel, (55mph is the fastest I'll dare drive it, compared to 85+ with my old Dynasty!), it keeps my car continually dirty and ruins the paint. The grill and hood is just a mess of paint chips. There are some on the roof, and there is NO paint on the rocker panel. I'm thinking of doing rockerguard on the rocker and maybe trying to blend in flat black... Dunno. Not looking forward to fixing my paint though. This is a good thread for me to remember.
