Cool Hello from the Candyman:

Hello Everyone,

My name is Don "Candyman" Bedford. I am a former Professional Automotive Detail Tech Specialist who loves to talk shop, and I just wanted to say hi, and offer Detailing advise to anyone who might be in need! You may have seen my "How To" posts on other Forums, and as some of you already know, I am always more than willing to help out any fellow PT'er any way I can!

And on that note, if anyone ever has a question, please feel free to drop me a line, and I will be more than happy to help out any time!

Take it easy!

Candyman

Hi Don. I guess PT Cruiser World has bit the dust. Welcome to the forum.

Candyman is also a long distance trucker if my memory serves me and has lots of good, very useful information to share.

Hey Guys,

Thank you for the warm welcome! I sure do appreciate it! Dang Crewzin, you got one good memory! Yes sir, I was a long distance Truck Driver for Fed Ex last time we talked! Unfortunately, I went and injured my back to the point where I am for the most part not able to walk much anymore, which forced me into early retirement. So I am getting around a bit slower these days, but it just gives me more time to mess around with the PT (You should see what I have done to it, and it is back in the shop again), hang out with all my friends, and have fun!

Again, I thank all of you for the warm welcome, and if you ever have any Detailing Questions, I am here anytime!

Sorry to hear about your injury.

Just a note on the side; Frank, the pictures aren't GONE altogether from PT Cruiser World. They are rebuilding the site and all that's up right now in the HOME page, everything else is still being worked on. Hopefully everything will be back, including the forum and pictures in a little while.

Candyman. Yes, I seem to remember before that site went down that you had done some amazing work on your cruiser. It was a real work of art. I'm sure the members of this forum would love to see it if you can post some pictures.

Hi Candyman...I have a 03 GT which I drove with a full bra on last year...the plastic tabs that are supposed to fit in the groove around the headlights left some rubbing marks in the clear coat. How can I get rid of them...do I need a professional power polish?
