I'm afriad of damaging my paint...should I remove the headlight to better sand and buff?

LOL, well, if you have something else you could put the lights in to hold, that would be ok, but, with the buffer going, its gonna be hard to hold the light with all the vibrations.

I have a buffing wheel on a solid mounted stand that works for stuff like this it works great
