How many use automatic car washes?

I have to say, that would really set me off, too. Once, years ago (when I was a youngster) I came out of a restaurant to find two teenaged girls sitting on the trunk of my '68 Mustang with a boom box on the roof.

Only in the winter and also their is only one that I trust in New York here thats does a damn good job

Now in the summer or when the weather is nice I only hand wash it then....lol I will spend all day cleaning my PT

Swirls in the paint, torn off chrome pieces, torn off antenna, torn of license plates, damaged bumpers, etc. Here in Oregon I hand wash even in the winter. Never, ever a car wash.

I always find that my pt is too short for the touch less to do a proper job on the back hatch. It is still dirty when i drive out.

I use the brushless carwash on all my cars and never had a problem

Palidin, that's just crazy...did you inquire about why they thought they could sit on your trunk??? Knowing it's like...not their vehicle? Peeps are crazy.

With my 2001 PT Cruiser I would run it through the car wash everytime I filled the tank. Washing the car was my chore growing up as a kid, so I refused to do it after I moved out.

Now with my 2008 Customized PT Cruiser, I hand wash it at least once a week. If it rains, I give it a sponge bath in the garage after moving my husbands '07 Mustang out onto the driveway!

Never take the 02 Dream Cruiser custom convertible to a car wash, I don't want the roof torn off! There is a place near me that will hand detail the entire car, including the undercarriage and engine for 20 bucks! As for the Sunset Blvd, it goes to the local car wash on the rare occasions that it gets washed at all, lol. I guess the poor Sunset has been put into the daily beater catagory!
