How do you remove the dash top panel?

Well, I got impatient and pulled it just now. Took all of 5 minutes - would have taken 2, but the link above does *not* apply to my 2001. You have to pull the center dash panel (air vents/window switches), which requires you pop the switches out and remove a screw. Once that panel is removed, you have to remove two screws that hold the dash center to the frame that supports the center panel.

I'll take some pics in the AM..

Now that you have it off, maybe some expanded mesh, sprayed black - attached from underneath?

My car is currently, no dash around the radio! lol If anyone need pictures of where screws are and how to pop off I'll be able to take some during the day!

Huh odd I didn't think the would have had a complicated process in getting the dash top off.

Here's a couple of pics showing where the screws had to be removed..
First shows the single center screw that secures the center piece ("BEZEL, Instrument Panel, Center") that must be removed to expose the two screws that hold in the top of the dash ("COVER, Instrument Panel, With
Demister Grilles")

Easy once you know how..
