Hi all, just got a PT this week, and of course tonight we are supposed to get the 1st snow... This is the first nice car I've had since I moved to Nebraska and just wondering to do about clearing snow off of the car.
Previously I had a couple of beaters where the paint job was already trashed so I didn't have to worry about it, would just use one those combo ice-scraper/ snow brushes to clear off the whole car... Are these ok to use or am I going to massively trash the clear-coat??? |

Park it and cover it like I do
and look for a great winter car...like my 500$ car

Use a snowblower?

Damn all these warm weather owners!!!
![]() and people that can afford a "winter" car! I googled it and the consensus on the ice-scraper/brush combo seems to be its ok to use the brush to clear most of the snow off but not where it coming in to direct contact with the paint... I did find something called the sno-brum that doesn't have the harsh bristles that I think will work |

![]() ![]() ![]() Here in Florida Wal Mart sells numerous soft bristle brushes in their auto section, maybe you could use something like that if you are that concerned. I never was that concerned when I had to brush the snow off my other vehicles, I just used a snow brush and "whipped" it off.

actually my winter car was cheaper than a snowblower........get in put it in gear drive real fast and all the snow will blow onto the car behind you
![]() ...or brush it off onto your neighbors driveway...you can also direct your snowblower onto your neighbors driveway/sidewalk.....ha ha ha
