Unhappy SCRATCHES ON WOOD PART

Hi, I have a 2002 woody, not aftermarket but from the factory. I have scratches in the wood from inconsiderate people in shopping areas opening their doors. Anyone know how I can touch these up?

Welcome to the forum!

Is that the 'contact paper' version? (As opposed to separate plastic panels, glued onto the sides of the car.) If yes, some people have had luck painting on a suitable color of wood graining to disguise the scratches.

I really don't know if it's contact or plastic. I just got it from the factory like that. I guess i can try the wood graining. Any other ideas?
And thanks for your reply.
