Default Best way to dry your PT?

After washing, whats the best way to dry a PT?

There are so many things out. Leather skins, micro fiber, those little rubber sticks.

I tried the leather......I cant hold on to it.

The MicroFiber left little yellow stuff everywhere.

I am about to just get a yard blower and blowdrying it.

Thoughts?

You should try Gary's Waffle Weave towels, they are the best, very soft and very absorbent! This is the best product that I've used for drying an automobile!![^]

A leafblower is the best! Try it. It gets all the water out of seams - it's great, and no chance of lint. I was skeptical, now I'm a believer.

To the car fanantic using a leaf blower sounds like a mortal sin. But like quicksilver says, it does work. I mainly use one for the door jams, gas cap area, and to get water out from behind the trim, where you can't see it. That will only remove a percentage of the water, then you should follow up with a waffle weave micro fiber. I must comment on what PTucker said about his experience using micro fiber. Keep in mind NOT ALL MICRO FIBER is created equal. If you are seeing the fibers coming off the towel, it is a cheap imitation. When any quality product enters the market, someone, sonewhere will figure out a way to make it cheaper. The result is what happened to PTucker. Try using a high quality micro fiber and see the difference. Night and day. Old school leather chamios are dangerous and this is why. Leather is flat, no pockets to trap foreign particles, so if anything comes inbetween your finish and the chamois it reacts as am emery board. I only use them in my detailing class for comparision to my micto fiber towels. seeing /feeling/ and using = believing/ Gary

The one I bought from you Gary is just awesome as everything else that you sell. I can't believe how much water that thing holds. You throw it across the wet roof and pull it off and the darn thing still feels dry. Amazing!
