Ditto, Gary. I have (unfortunately) allowed by 17" chrome to get covered with brake dust that doesn't come off with or wheel cleaner or clay bar.

HELP!!!

Brake dust is always a problem when it gets out of hand. Using my "less is best approach" start out with a cut solution of all purpose cleaner/ simple green is a good example. The trick is to NOT use a rag, but I nylon brissel brush. like a small detail brush. The brush will aggitate the dust sometimes and loosen it up. If that doesn';t work try a solvent based cleaner, don;'t leave it sit for too long, rinse right away while working. after that use soap and water / rinse, then seal it right away. I have a real Kick A-- product I use for Chrome. I only sell to people that ask me for it. Its only available in Gallons from a chemical supply house. anyone that wants to try some, I will bottle you some at my cost/ e mail me direct if you want to try some. Gary
