Rolo, thanks for the tips. That's what my son advised too. I downloaded the MacroMedia Flashplayer (again), and went to the test page as well. It said my download was successful, however something's still wrong. I do get the very first part of Gary's site, the car rolling out and stopping, but then it quits loading. Oh well, maybe eventually. Bob

IRPT, he does have a non-flash version set up. I have logged on to computers to test it with non flash hook up and the screen looks more genetic, no moving icons or pics. it has a caption there saying "if you are seeing this screen you are not able to view this site the way it was desgined with flash." but all the information is still there to see. I think R>E. might have somehting else going on, since he is able to get the car moving across the page that tells me he something else going on.

Gary I've got one for you. Is there any way to clean off specks of water based paint off the car finish? (not on my Cruiser, thank God)

Just thought of another one. What's the best method to use in removing the dealership decal from the car? It's on the deck lid. Thanks for any help.
I used Crisco rubbing cooking oil for sheet pans to take off my dealer stick from the back of my Cruiser. Rub carefully with a micro fiber towel of cotton one. The sticky crap will come off the more you work it. Took me about 15 minutes both for rubbing time and oil soaking peroid.

Gary or others, anyone know how to remove a scuff mark on a windshield? It was apparently caused by the windshield wiper when the blade was worn on the end. It looks like a scratch, but you can't feel it. Thanks for any tips.

R.E, (using the less is best method) first try a terri applicator pad with a cleaner wax, if that helps but doesn't get it all, go to a clay bar with qd spray, next go back to terri pad with a paint cleaner/polish, if that doesn't do it, go to 0000 steel wool with QD spray and a light polish/ notice the pattern? always start with the least aggressive method first. I remember once I saw a guy tried to remove a minor scratch with a heavy duty compound and a high speed set at 2,500 rpms when all he needed was a cleaner, he preceeded to take the finish off the car.

Thanks Gary. If it's not too cold tomorrow, I'll be out in the driveway going thru the steps.

Well, I went thru all the procedures today, but didn't get any noticeable improvement. I do, however have an exceptionally clean windshield. I'm thinking maybe I'll remove the wiper blade from the passenger side, give it a few swipes across the windshield so both sides will match, and call it a "mod"[8D]
