Default GT doesn't last clean

My GT '03 Steel Blue gets very dirty/soiled, i doesn't last even 2 days after washing when its (very) dirty again... i wash it with Armor-All (Car Shampoo), a spounge and a flannel.

I dunno what to do or what's the trick to keep it "clean" for long than 2 days, i use normal streets/paved always it's like i was always driving over dirty roads and the dirty is too sticky.

I pour water all over the PT and if i don't start to wash it immediately (and i mean immediately) it remains same dirty/soiled
and sometimes even worst, so i need to wash it fast (i mean really fast)if i want it to look at least decently.

I like to turn heads to my PT but not for its dirty/soiled look []

Any help would be appreciated and many thanks in advance

If all you have is dust, then you need a California Duster, you can get them just about anywhere that sells car care products. I can go weeks (if I don't drive in the rain) without washing the car and just use the duster and some quick detailing product. Of course this doesn't apply to the wheels, I wash the wheels every two or three days because of the brake dust.

Thanks mcruz, i will look for it tomorrow.

And yeah well.. at first the most is dust but with the morning dew it becomes mud and (dew) drop's trails. So i guess keeping it free from dust no more mud.

But what about the trails, i mean when im washing the car its very hard to leave the surface without trails while it stills wet aren't visible but when im drying it off there are water's spots and trails.

Don't feel bad, sometimes its just poor conditions, around my parts, I can wash my car in the am, and later that same day, you would never know it. The salt on the street is horrible. It will be easier to if you give the car a full detail, wash/clay/polish/seal. That way, when you do wash it, it is a little easier to clean. also, have your spray and shine handy. Gary

Flannel does not absorb much and it is abrasive. Get some large microfiber towels (they just simply rule), they soak up water and leave no streaks and oh so soft.

Get an RV drinking water filter for your hose...cured my waterspot-while-washing problem. The water does not evaporate as quickly, too, and drying is a lot smoother.

Ditto on the California Duster, and

Ditto on the waxing of it...wax every 6-8 weeks. Clay it before your first wax.
