Cold Weather Washing

Hi All
To keep your hands from freezing on those cold car wash days.
I use thin glove liners inside extra large latex gloves, both from the local dollar store. My favorite place to shop since getting the PT Cruiser. ( broke and happy at the same time )
So I don,t get lazy and go to a so-called " no scratch " car wash .
Now all I need is a heated garden hose so I don't have to keep bringing it inside after each use. Oh yeah and maybe some slip on galoshes for when I always manage to spray my feet.

10spdrive, great idea, thanks! Yea, I would love to have a heated water hose. I fill my bucket up with warm water so it isn't too bad.

I lived in Michigan, used to wait for a sunny day before washing it. I had a blacktop driveway so the water didn't freeze, but washed it using 'muklucks" on my feet. One December we were 31 days [xx(] without a sunny day, another reason to move south.

There are wash mits with gloves inside of them, one at http://www.griotsgarage.com

Also, use hot water in your wash bucket, it keeps your hands from freezing even more and the soap cleans better.

While you are at it, get an RV drinking water filter for your hose to keep sedimentary water spots from forming.
