Default Floridas State Insect is BAAAAAK!!!!
The "infamous" LOVE BUG[xx(] has started their mating season again. For those who haven't experienced them before, they leave a acidic smear on your paint job that in about 2-3 days IF they are not removed, they will etch the clear coat. Mating season for them is January & September. Be aware!!!! Many auto bras for hood protection have been seen here in Central Florida.

Hooligan, been there, done that. Lived in Brunswick, GA for about 3 years, had the same problem.

My brother is a Citrus Caretaker. Knows his insects.

He told me the "Love Bug" is not a "bug", it is a true "fly."

So maybe their name should be "F@&K Fly" [^]
