Default Repair leather

I don't know who smokes in their Cruiser, but be warned that leather interior and hot ash from cigarettes or cigars can be deadly. I wish I took a pic of this, but before I started I had no idea it would turn out this good. Recently I got in a SL500 Mercedes to detail. (Pic posted in detailing section) It had a burn hole the size of a pencil eraser in diameter and about as deep. I was not hired to repair it, in fact I NEVER did a leather repair at all. But while I was working on this car everytime I looked at that hole, it was driving me crazy. So in my creative state I tried something. I took a small piece of clay, and filled the hole, then I went to my assortment of automotive paint and found a color that matched. I used a small artist brush to blend it in (had to blend in color with two dye lots) and after it was done, you could not even see it. I can't wait to show the dealer how it turned out, they are picking up the car today. Moral of the story/ DON'T SMOKE IN YOUR CAR. Gary

No fooling, man. I have not smoked in mine yet, nor will I let anyone else do it.

Very true, but I enjoy it... I just don't smoke in my PT.
