Voting???[:I]lol@Gary...BTW, the pad cleaning (metal spurs) spur tool you show is more typically used for wool pads. I tend to use a stiff nylon brush more often than a spur to clean my (foam) pads. The spurs on my pad cleaning tool are made of nylon, which can be used on both wool and foam pads.

I am glad to see the Q tip because you are not detailing until you get the Q tips out.

Could somebody enlighten me on how that "pad cleaner" works? About the only kind I could imagine cleaning with that would be a "sanitary" pad. Maybe to remove scabs. [:I] (That scenario may be rated R, but the voting is over anyway)

Either or. I don't see as many white wall tires coming in as I used to. I like to use an S.O.S. pad to clean whitewalls. comes out great.

Thanks Gary. Guess I'm dumb, but what do you do, just run that tool over the pad to loosen up the packed in dust/residue?

spin the wheel at about 2,000 RPM's and hold the spur on it while it is on the floor. Gary
