Default Washing with water (?)

Hey Gary, have you seen the thread over on the PT Enthusiasts forum titled "Washing with water"? I won't rehash it here, but it has a few exciting replies on it and I thought you would like to give your views on it (as they are always worth reading!)

ANDY, my god, that was an experience. The guy who started that post is clueless on even the basic facts on how to wash your car. Thus, this is why my detailing clinics are catching on like wild fire. People are looking for the "right" information. ok, the only intelligent post in 4 pages was by Sci Fi, this man knows his stuff. WITHOUT A SOAP, THE DIRT WILL NOT EMULSIFY, RESULTING IN SCRATCH CITY TO YOUR FINISH. as far as dawn, that product has much stronger detergent formula which will indeed remove any wax/ sealant on the car. a PH balanced safe car wash soap is what I recommend. Last, the only thing I will say about Zaino on a public forum is that it is what the professionals classify as a "boutique" wax/ Not anything that serious enthusiasts would use. Many people have switched from the Z word after I introduced them to professional products. For some people I had to secure something I normally don't carry, but whatever the situation is, I will get a product that will work better than over the counter stuff you have now. Andy, e mail me on my web site for more. Gary [?]
