Default New Meguars NXT...its great!

I everyone. I recently purchased the new generation of Meguiars car products called NXT, which are now synthetic polymer. I'm sure a lot of you have heard about it, but I haven't seen any posts about them so i figured i might as well start one. Anyway, I purchased the NXT soap, the NXT wax, and the NXT booster spray. I got them in the mail today, so of course i had to test it out right away. I just washed the car and put it on. No time for claying this time. The soap was very sudsy and had a great smell. And i swear that after i dried the car, it looked better already! But who knows.
Then I applied the wax with a buffer. It went on evenly, and i let it dry for 15 minutes. I then took it off with my microfiber towels. It came right off, although some residue built up, but this was mainly due to me using too much product. But after taking it off...
well..the stuff is amazing. It really really is the best wax I've tried. And thats is among Klasse and Zaino. Its just so much easier to put on and take off, and the shine is amazing. It made the inferno red stand out like i've never seen it. And it feels like glass.I didn't see too much of the swirl removing capability, but I'm sure more than one coat is needed to see a big difference in that department. My next test will be how it stays clean in the rain. Being in WA, I hate how everytime it rains, the car gets filthy from the dirt spraying up from the road. I had used one product, CrystalGuard, that prevented this for a short time because the dirt just wouldn't stick to the car.
Anyway, you can go to the meguiars.com site if you want to read about them. I have not seen them in stores yet, but you can order them from the meguiars site, or get them cheaper from autopia.com.
I have picture of the car, but i'm not sure how to post them on this board yet. I'll look into it though. But Ive found that pictures don't really show you how good a car looks. One of the best pictures i have of my car is when it wasn't even cleaned!
Take care...

Hi Pat and welcome. When I saw the post on the NXT I quickly called my friend and mentor in Pa, who is a pro detailer. We chat back and forth on new trends/products and procedures. Every year we hear about something new that is going to be the second coming, this wax is no exception. Mike Phillips the marketing director for Meguiars I know logs in at autopia and he was really hyping it up. My friend recently used the product and was let down as far as the expectations. He said it went on and off easy, but the jury is still out as far as protection, since it has not been out long enough yet. Giving them the benefit, I'm sure it's fine. I know they priced it for the retail trade (around $14.00 I think is what he said) Meguiars has been around a long time, I use many of the pro line products for buffing. Do you know how it differs from #20? That is also said to be a polymer sealant. My opinion will wait until I try it myself. That could be a while though since I have many people sending me samples to test. footnote on Klasse, a great product. The AIO is outstanding, however they dropped the ball with their sealant. Sets up too hard to remove. The other product you mentioned I won't comment on in public. I believe the most important part in detailing is the prep work, if I wash/clay deep clean, polish/glaze> even turtle wax will good.

I agree with you on the sealant, I have used it and thought I would never get it off.
