Well I used the MR. Clean system today on my 2004 pt silver in color. It worked great and worked as advertized. We have a water sofener already in our house. It did dry spot free as said and the paint and all of the grall was spot free...This product does work!!!!!!

I used it and it worked for me. No spots, nice clean and shiny look. I will keep the warning about the wax in mind though. Thanks.

It works great for me, and I waxed afterwards, seems ok. You have to be very anal while rinsing, from what I read the spot free feature was the result of the filter basic dionizing(sp) the water. (removeing the minerals from it) not from a oil based rinse. if it was oil based, I would think you would see it on the glass atleast.[:I]

Sorry I didn't make this clear. Mr, Clean uses chemicals SIMILAR to how oil and water repel. some concept, the product is not oil based but reacts the same way oil does with water, so it is safe to use on your car. Sorry for the confusion/ Gary

Gary,
This whole topic has me bothered, How do you know if the wax didn't adhere, or is it obvious? ALSO is there any chance they didn't get the soap washed off and that was the problem? Where did we get the info on the chemicals in the rinse, or is that a E.W.A.G.? (EDUCATED WILD -SS GUESS) I can't spell hipoth, hypot, hippo, hypothosisissiiss. Heck I can't even say it[}][}]

The "polymer" left on the car by the Mr. Clean soap leaves a film that can build up over time. I recently stopped using the AutoDry and went back to regular car washing soap, bucket, and towels. The film left on my car turned into a sticky mess after the first regular wash. It took razor blades to get it off the windows. I'm still trying to polish it off the paint. The residue is so hard that you can scrap it with your fingernail and it will not come off the paint.

This product is horrible!
