I've been using DER products for 2 years . It's similar to The big Z but a little cheaper . I've been satisfied however my supplies are running low , hence I'm waiting for Gary to return from his vacation so I can order from him . By the time he gets back I'll be on vaction and my GT will need claying etc. What better time to try another product ? I was parking my GT for the winter until wife got her Avalanche in an accident so she was driving the neon and now I'm either too lazy to swap my work stuff back into the neon , or maybe I'm enjoying that extra 80hp , too much! Anyway my GT needs a good bath, claying and polishing and the kids are outa school for 11 days starting 4/7 so hopefully mother nature cooperates !

Well being my first car to detail. I read about Gary's products and suggestions on detailing. So I tried them and think they work very well. Not to mention the pain sealer alow the dirt to cake up and come off easily, or maybe that the spray and shine doing its job.

I currently use either Meguiars or Zymol but am wondering about a product called Buffalo Milke. I saw it on some kind of infomercial. Has anyone tried this product?

Have you guys tried Detail Plus products?

http://detailplus.com/detail_supplies.htm

I have tried the sealant and it is very good.
I no longer use them, so if anyone wants free samples, let me know

Here's a link to the Buffalo Milke website

http://www.buffalomilke.com/

I've been using the product on my vehicles for a couple of yrs. now and I really like it

It is amazingly fast and easy; the application concept is just like Windex; Spray on, use one applicator/towel to distribute evenly, then immediately wipe off. That's it you're done!

I have successfully used it on every exterior surface of my cars and motorcycles, be they painted, chrome, glass, rubber, plastic, powdercoated, etc.

Also the stuff dries clear so overspray doesn't contaminate other surfaces and don't have to dig any residues out of crevices, etc.

What led me to try the stuff was the list of high dollar vehicle customizers who use it exclusively on their show cars.

As always YMMV, But Buffalo Milke's so easy to apply that I've waxed a car while waiting for my wife to finish getting dressed to leave the house!

1st of all, the term "the best" is subjective and based on one's experience. That being said, my favorite standby for any color car is S100 or P21S paste wax (made by the same company but targeted at different markets under different names). Very easy wax to use . You literally apply a thin coat on a section of your car and then immediately wipe it off. No need to let the wax haze. It leaves a very slick, deep, and shiney look to your paint.

To quote NY Detailer, a professional detailer from Staten Island, NY, from a post he made on 12/15/2002 and 1/27/2003:

Quote:
quote:It has been about a month or so since I have last detailed my car.
The last time i detailed it I topped off with S100.
Since then it has snowed, rained, rained again, froze, rain, rained again. Real bad weather so far. In fact one day my car was frozen all around.

The S100 is still going strong, nothing is staying on the car. In fact when it snowed out, everyone else had snow going down the car, my snow just slid right off. I have a limited amount of dust on the car. In fact I have not washed the car since the last time i detailed it (that is driving me nuts as the car needs a wash)

It is still beading and going strong.

S100 is living up to my standards as a pro detailer. Real easy to apply and remove. Gives off a great look too!

Cant wait for the season to start up again, right now it is getting kind of slow.
NYD

Quote:
quote:"Well, I finally washed the car yesterday.
I could not take it any longer.
I was testing out the s100 to see how long it would hold up.
I waited about 1 1/2 months of no car washing, it was covered in salt and snow and crap. It was pure hell, I wanted to wash it so bad.
Well I got the QEW out and went to work
Everything came right off, the car felt like glass once again.
It seemed as if S100 did not let anything stick. I mean nothing, It even looked great.
I guess this could be a review for QEW as well.
That stuff works real well too. Easy to wash and dry.

I think using QEW, & S100 you will have a very happy car."
