Default Gary..you asked about the RIP

Gary...you saw a ripped graphic on a convertible at the show Sunday. The place that sells them and a host of great graphics is called:

www.speedgraphics.net

It's under the heading of "SLAMWRAP" on the home page.

Crewzin, thanks much for being a great host at the show. You have a nice bunch of people in your club. (not to mention some of the nicest looking Cruisers I have seen) YOu should post some pics of that Black Chrome Cruiser that was in the back of the group. More mods on that car than I've ever seen. Thanks for link, I love the ripped look with the Matrix. Gary

Gary

That was my PT. I am sorry i did not get a chance to talk with you. I have read a lot on your site about detailing and picked up some nice information and placed an order to try some of your products. I was a little slow and ended up sending my order in the day before you left for Florida. Waiting patiently for you to get back home and my order to come in. If i ever make it to IL i am sure i will be in one of your classes.

WestGate, I wish I had a chance to met you as well. I REALLY LOVE YOUR CAR!!!! I have been looking for ripped steel graphics for some time, never saw what I wanted until I saw your car. Maybe you can post your phone number to me in a private e mail message on my web site. I would love to talk to you about Cruisers and mods, maybe I get answer some of your detailing questions as well.

Trust me, its the real deal. (short of air brushing) what I like about decal graphics is that you can change them every one so often. In doing that you change the whole look/image as well. Something to remember is this> the finish will look different if you leave the decal on for a prolonged time. Reason is simple, under it the elements don't effect the finish, while all around it does. If you change a decal, it is best to detail the whole car to keep the color blended well.

Thanks folks.
Jimbo it is the 13 x 60.

Really this is my first PT and i enjoy. I have owned Chrysler products for a long time and have come to trust them. Since i moved to Florida i have always wanted convertible and my last vehicle was a sebring convertible. I would have a had time owning a hard top again. Well it was time to get a new vehicle and I was looking at the Jeep line. We (the dealer and i) were talking about the PT convertible coming in soon. I took a hard top PT for a test drive and when i returned i told him i would wait for the convertible to come in. They came in that afternoon. The rest has been fun.

Like you said Gary I do like the idea of the decal and changing them in time. I am sure it will reguire a little work if i remove it later.
I figure if it is too much trouble i could always get a lerger decal next time.
You have my address because you will have an order from me when you get back to the cold north. I will send you an e-mail with my numbers.
Mods will come as the checkbook allows. My next one will be a trailer hitch to pull the wave runner.
Take care.
Steve
