Must have been a different thread, I didn't see anyone suggest using a polish on it???
??

The question was asked "What can you use to remove wax from the bumper." The thread's are in ref. to using peanut butter to remove wax from the bumper.
I was refering to turbomangt's reply...
" first of all DON"T use a polish like someone suggested."

I was confused as I did not read where anyone suggested a polish???

I have read a lot of threads on the internet about using peanut butter, and that it really works, but never really "had to" use it, as I have a lot of products that do not leave the "wax trail" on trim.

Do you guy's use creamy or chunky? j/k LOL!!

Hey, you still have to brush after using peanut butter right? don't want any cavities on those bumpers.

Just couldn't wait for the weekend. After reading the post & confirmation about the peanut butter trick I just had to try it. It works like a charm. Bet George Washington Carver didn't foresee that one in his wildest dreams. Thanks for the tips, one & all.

Gary, crunchy is only for off-road vehicles.

No no no, don't use crunchy. It's WAY to abrasive!!!

I used the creamy variety. Didn't want to take a chance w/ an actual bit-o-nut causing some other abrasion somewhere. I was able to find a use for some old Jif that way. I live in the area where they make Reese's Peanut Butter Cups so the stores around here sell Reese's brand of P.B. Better than Jif or Skippy any day. So I can keep the Jif in reserve now that I've found a good use for it.
