Clothe seats are harder to clean then leather. You have to be careful what you use for several reasons.
1. color change 2. the checmials can have a reaction to the material 3. whatever you spray may get under the top material and go directly into the backing, or foam, no vac or extractor will remove it once it gets back there. Here is what I suggest. YOu will have to clean the entire seat, the same way. Get yourself a bucket of warm water and some lint free towels (not terri) also you should have a horse hair brush or fine nylon brush. NOT a stiff bristle brush) take the rags in the water, and wring them out, don't use too much water. Then with the brush and a little all purpose cleaner like simple green ( I would also dilute the simple green 50 /50 with water. )just to clean the seat. don't saturate the seats, once you have cleaned the seat, use a dry towel, shop vac and maybe even a hair dryer to get the water to evaporate quickly. Let me know how it turns out. Gary

I've heard that this will work to remove stains on almost anything.

Shaving cream, use a brush (on carpet work it in with your fingers) then with a damp rag wipe it gone.

There are several methods you can consider using:

1. Buy foaming carpet or upholstery cleaner, spray the foam on a cloth and then take some of the foam from there and work it into the stain or clean the whole seat. Very little moisture will be transferred to your seats. You may have to use a spot remover product to pre-treat the area. Hard to say without looking at it.

2. Mix Woolite and water (6 parts water to 1 part Woolite or a weaker solution for maintentence cleaning and care)and spray the area with the formula. Next, using a cloth or towel, gently work the formula into the area using light strokes from the edges of the stain to the center; when your cloth reaches the center of the stain, lightly pinch the area in an upward motion. Do not rub the stain. Also the Woolite method recommended my car manufacturers for cleaning/care for leather and cloth seats.

To rinse the treated area, place lukewarm water in a spray bottle and spray the area lightly but do not overwet and blot the water using a clean, dry cloth and light strokes that travel from the edges to the center.

Note for the above 2: you can dry your seats faster if you take a slightly moist towel and use a warm iron. It will draw out any excess moisture. Or use a fan.

3. There are several Dry Cleaning upholstery kits available. Follow the instructions.

4. If you have a carpet cleaner with a hand attachment, you can clean your seats with that. The machine will clean and extract any excess moisture at the same time. Can also use the machine for rinsing. Note: might as well clean your carpets while you have the machine out.

5. Take it to a professional for cleaning.

Hope this helps.

Seems you got the syrup out, and see the outline of the area that was wetted - what I've found that works is to wet the entire seat - it'll dry pretty fast on a sunny day - an hour or so. Ive done it on office chairs, come out perfect.
