Default Who's a perfectionist?

Today I removed each wheel one at a time, cleaned the wells, and the wheels. I used rubberized undercoating paint in the wheel wells. Plus after I cleaned the wheels I polished and sealed them on the reverse side. I agree with Sci-Fi, this should be done at least once a year.

I always dress the wheel wells every time I dress the tires.
Today I crawled underneath and washed, polished & sealed the rear axle and spare tire rim. Also cleaned the chrome wheels and sealed them with Gary's sealant.

Hmmmm, looks like I need to step up my game a bit!

I have a friend with a 20 year old Porsche 911 Turbo who has been known to put the car up on jack stands and clean the hard to reach undercarriage places with a toothbrush. Then again, this car only has 15,000 miles and isn't driven if it's even partly cloudy outside. Deep blue color, no swirl marks - garage kept with a cover on it. How's that for being a perfectionist? Oh yeah, his daily driver is a BMW X5 but he's getting a Porsche Cayanne in a month or so. Nice guy, and you wouldn't know he had the $$$$ unless you saw his cars - or his beach front condo. Some folks just know how to live!

Someone was watching me do my wheels and said, the back looks so good now, why don;'t you turn them around. That would be interesting, definatly a design you won't see anywhere else, for sure.

Don't forget to remount the tires when you do that "this side out" LOL.

While you have the tires off the rim you can clean inside the tire and rim!! - bonus.
