Meguiar's Medallion Paint Cleaner
If I were to rate on a scale from 1-10 the degree of abrasives in the above product compared to my Ultimate Paint cleaner here is how I would post it. Mine about a 3, Meguiars a 5. Reason I think this is important is for several reasons. One, I won't sell anything that you can get in trouble with. But when you get some stubborn blemishes that require more aggresive action, then I would go up to the Meguiars. In either case here is how to use a paint cleaner.
After the car has been washed/clayed/ washed again (just to remove the clay residue) I would use a terri pad rather than a foam pad for this. Reason is you want the pad to provide the best introduction to allow the cleaner to work. The nature of Terri material works better for this. SHAKE BOTTLE WELL. Don't under estimate this simple task. When you get into the higher end detail supplies, they have many components that need to mix together well before use.
Next, apply about a quarter size amount of cleaner on the pad, work it into the finish using side to side motion. work in small sections at a time, then remove with a MF towel. Don't allow the cleaner to dry or "set up" as you would a wax or sealant. It is not meant to sit on the car. Just work it in and remove right away. Do the whole car like that a little at a time. You will find that between the clay and the cleaner, you are on your way to producing a much nicer finish.
