For leathering cleaning, check my web site out for the correct products to use. What you need is a mild (ph balanced) cleaner that will not harm the material. stay away from all purpose cleaners too high in alkaline and will actually promote drying out the leather. Once it is clean, go ahead and condition. Gary

Isn't dangerous if you clean your steering wheel? Wouldn't it be all slippery after treating it?

This is true, cleaning your stering wheel is fine, but you shouldn't use conditioners on it. The best thing to do is keep your hands clean.
