Default Question about chrome wheels

Gary, I'm a little confused. Is your chrome sealant used for washing and cleaning the wheels or am I supposed to clean them first with another product (those break dust removers and whatnot) and then apply the sealant for the shine?

Also, it is not easy for me to have another set of wheels to swap during the winter months. I read that wax can be applied to protect the chrome against road salt. Is that true? Does your chrome sealant replace the wax or would I still need to apply wax for protection?

Thanks in advance.

Cool, nothing beats good old fashion soap and water for regular cleaning. After you wash your wheels, then use my chrome polish/sealer. It also has some solvents in it, so you will get some cleaning action while you protect it. You don't need to add anything else if you use this on a regular basis. It won;t hurt to top with a wax or sealer. But the Chrome polish will protect it fine. And wait till you see the shine. OK? Gary

Got it. Wash and clean and then apply the sealant.
Thanks.
