Review: Griots Fine Glass Polish - How to remove water spots and road film off car glass
I have a few other items to take care of first; but I may try this within the next 6 months or so.
Couldn't agree more, have researched & read a lot of different sites & individuals dealing with paint & surface prep, detail, techniques, etc. By far Mike Phillips is a great point of reference in the auto detailing realm. His detailed explanations & videos are terrific for anyone looking to get an education vehicle cleaning, polishing, paint surface prep, final wax, etc. Of course he emphasizes the product lines he's associated with, which are good products, but the average DIY'er can apply any of his well explained techniques using the brand of their choice to achieve similar results. A clay bar on window glass does work quite well for removing most embedded junk, I haven't had to use anything stronger, guess I've gotten lucky so far...

You give a mouse a cookie...and he is gonna want milk!

I wonder how much people get to do video's promoting a product line these days?

Have you ever tried cerium oxide? Its a fine power you mix with water using a drill with a foam or cotton attachment. You have to practice a bit but I have saved a lot on home windows with very hard water spots and it worked on the windshield of a 64 Galaxie that belongs to a friend of mine, Try Amazon for this product.
Check out U-tube for instructions.
