I've been using back-to-black on my Dad's 99' F-150 (that be bought in 99). The vinyl and rubber look just as good as the day it was purchased. I don't know if Mothers back-to-black is solvent based, but it hasn't destroyed anything. Sounds to me like you should definately take it back to the dealer. Or maybe consider going on
E-bay and getting a set of M3 mirrors to replace the stock ones.

I am going to see how the mirrors turn out after the next wash and detail. If the brown comes right back then I'll take a drive to the dealers and see what they have to say and if they will do anything about them. I just can't see where glass cleaner should do this. The brown is only right next to the window so thats the only thing I can figure out that must have done it. Thanks for the advice!

if you used RAIN-X that would mess up your vinyl. That is why the instructions specifically say to NOT get it on anything plastic.
(Isnt Rain-x great though?)

Well, we washed and dried ItsMe yesterday and the mirror brown came right back. We used a car wash stuff I got at one of the auto stores and no other cleaners and the mirrors are just going to turn brown no matter what
Going to go to the dealers and find out why they are doing this and see if they will do something about it since it's basically a new car, couple months old with 4300 miles.[xx(]
