Default Engine Cleaning?

How do you go about cleaning your engine out. Mine got all dusty and nasty at the body shop. How should I clean it out?

Im going to vacuum the majority of the stuff off the top but what about the innerards?

Thanks for any help. [:I]

No good Colby. Once it gets that dirty, it's time to trade it in and buy a GT. []

Colby, I'm in the midst of the same issues w/my engine compartment. The body shop was hard on the engine compartment. A little tip (take it for what it's worth) I used Orange oil all purpose cleaner and a stiff toothbrush/detailing brush on ALL of the exposed aluminum parts. Flush with water, or use a water soaked cloth to rinse the area after scrubbing. It was the ONLY thing that cleaned my intake manifold (GT is aluminum) to my satisfaction. Plastic or rubber parts I used garys waterbase dressing. Spent 4-6 houre each day this past weekend. My Back is killing me.......

Well I did clean my engine last Friday.
What I did some pull out the old shop vac from under all the stuff and hook it up. I used my household vac tip that had hair and lint all in it but I figured it was ok.
So I vacced all the crud out, then got a wet rag to wep it all down, then got my trusty products from Gary and dilouted them down with some water, and, woolah, the engine looks nice and has some of a shine on the black plastic parts.

Thanks for all the help and ideas but I just figured I do what I could.
