Default Interesting article

Check out the post titled "Ceramic Coatings? in the General section of the Turbo site , I started it, but Sci-fi posted an article I thought was extremely informative. I plan on doing this process to my car in Jan, along with some custom air brush work. let me know your thoughts. p.s. Its only money, our cars are worth it [?] Gary

Believe Powertrip went the ceramic route. But his PT is Hahn powered and had all the goodies in it (rods, pistons, port and polished, etc. etc.). A few pics below:

Sci Fi, realy cool pics and post. I kind of ran into this venture by accident. The shop doing my custom air brush work this winter also works with a hot rod speed shop. When I started talking to them about putting on my stage one, the guy starts telling me about the advantage of doing some components in Ceramic. I knew nothing about the process (thus my post on Turbo site) but he gave me such an impressive dialog of the advantages, I basically was sold. Cost was only around $250 for Manifold, Exhaust intake, and top section of turbo charger. I figured since they have to remove some of these parts installing S1, why not go ahead? I appreciate your info on the subject, you are an encyclopedia. GARY
