Default Tire Dressing w/Petrolium Distillates

Most of the products I see on the counter for tire dressing contain petrolium Distillates. Is this the "solvent" that I'm hearing about that eats away the rubber?

Is that true? I dont know. It makes sence. But anyway I use 1Z Vinyl/rubber care. It safe for tires.

Yes guys that is correct. Solvent dressing has become the popular choice for the uneducated customer. Water based dressings are harder to find (which is why I introduced my water based dressing) but worth seeking out. My dressing will not harm paint, or any other material it comes in contact with. Unlike that sticky solvent stuff. You will also get more applications with water based dressing. Mine has UV protection for plastic and vinyl. also works great on the rubber door seals. Gary

Any high gloss water based tire dressing out there? Gary, I know your product is great but it gives off a satin look, not high gloss correct?
I just love the look of a shiny tire.

If you are applying it correctly you should get a nice look, apply to a wet clean tire, do not wipe off, allow to air dry. Gary
