I would be really tempted to get a Corvette someday. Maybe if I won the lotto (Like Crewzin) I could have BOTH cars.I picked this car up today so I had to drive it to my shop to detail it (darn) Man, when you touch that pedal, you get E forced back in your seat. Even with all the exotic cars I see, this is the American classic Sports car. Bottom line. Gary

I only wish I won the lotto Gary, (good government job and played with the stock market at the right time), but you have just experienced what I get everytime I get into mine. You can see why, when I see all the posts on the Turbo side of this forum, I try to hold my opinions to myself on all the kill stories of the GT's over their ricer counterparts.

What you just drove has almost 100 hp over mine. Just imagine what some of the younger GT street racers would do with that kind of performance. 99% of the Corvette owners on the Vette forums don't go bragging about who they "killed" on the street, but they do have fun when the ricer/GT crowd tries to prove something with them.

It's more than just performance with the Corvette crowd. There's probably half a dozen Vette clubs in almost every state. Almost every owner waves at other owners and when we have our big get-togethers...thousands of Corvettes show up.

Both the Cruiser and the Vette are great cars...each serves their own purpose and I'm proud to drive either one.

When I was single and drove my 73 rag top I loved that car . Most of my friends would say how fast will it go and I would reply it does really well at stop lights. If you get my drift. But it had power and it was a stick which made it seem faster.
