try Googleing it, there may be a quick, cheap fix. [:I] I heard tomato juce will the smell out of dogs, but that would kinda hard to dip a PT in.

True story, last year my lab found pleasure in making friends with one of those creatures. The skunk didn't like the idea, if you catch my drift. I also heard of the tomato juice thing. So here I am, stark naked, with my dog and 6 gallons of tomato juice, in the shower. (This would make the top ten on funniest videos.) My kids were crying they were laughing so hard. In any eveny it got rid of the smell.
Now for your car, keep the windows rolled down, use Fabreeze on the interior. should work its way out. Gary

Gary, I LSH I almost spilled my drink!![^] DON'T SEND PICTURES!!!!!
Now, if you could develop a deoderizer with tomato extract or something you could combine it with the other products you sell and shizammm ... [}] [?] you could be a hero in your own time!! No Skunk-um car wax!![)] I'll bet it would sell well in Vermont!!

Call a vet. My dog got "skunked" a few years ago, and they had a "recipe" of stuff that worked fairly well.
Be prepared for smell to return on rainy days....[:0]

One thing I found amusing is that Owls have virtually no sense of smell and they LOVE skunks. Under one owl nest they found 69 skunk skulls! [?]

Here's a well known unskunk "solution":

32oz H2O2 (Hydrogen Peroxide is readily found in drug stores and is the stuff that bubbles white when you put on wounds.)

2oz Baking Soda

1 teaspoon dish soap

You create a bubble bath with this and then give a final water rinse.

http://bird-dog-news.com/JA96/Page39A.html Hey Gary: Is that your doggy??

What the above artilce fails to state is this recipe should be made ONLY at the time of the incident and NOT STORED FOR ANY LENGTH OF TIME. http://ksks.essortment.com/skunkodorremed_rwlg.htm

You see, just the thought of me in the shower naked with the dog, frightened the smell out of the car. Gary
