Default Pressure washer

I'm scared to use my pressure washer on the PT. Its not a powerfull one. Just a little electric 1,400psi max washer. Can that little guy hurt the paint?[:I]

Just as long as your using water and not sand it should not be a problem. Many people, including myself, use higher pressure washers at those manual car washers without any problems.

lol ok, I would have died if I had used it and taken off some paint.

I have first hand(left hand) knowledge of the power of pressure washer. REALLY! I have a scare about an inch long on my left hand as a reminder of how stupid you can be as a kid. I was going to fill up a bucket and without thinking lifted the bucket up and put the end in it and fired. The bucket jerked and put my hand right at the washer spray.[|)]

Since I"m on a roll I also have a round scare on the same hand from the skirt of a pellet. Yes it was loaded backwards and yes it was self-inflicted[?]

I have a pressure washer that delivers 2800 psi. My son was following a pickup truck and a can of white paint fell off and opened up. Got it all over the side of the car. When he got home it was pretty dry so I thought I'd try the pressure washer. It worked well on the painted metal. However, when I tried it on the plastic rocker panel trim it peeled the car's paint right off. I wouldn't use it on the plastic parts. The higher pressure washers can deform the plastic, crack the paint and peel it off. CJJ
