Default Car wax Recommendation

Can anyone give me any car wax brand recommendations? My all-time favorite was Prestone car wax but I can't find it anywhere anymore. Thx!

Only one way to go! www.perfectautofinish.com Gary's products are absolutely the best around, cost, ease-in-using & the Ultimate Finish will blow your mind away. [?] Turbomangt often visits this site & offers Tons of advice to anyone who asks. [^]

PTurbed is spot on with his recommendation. Having spoken with Gary on the phone I can say I personally like the guy. My cars are in love him!! I'll have to post some pix of the '99 Miata I recently acquired and gave the full treatment to - clay, paint cleaner, poly sealer, etc. My wife thinks I'm crazy when she sees me staring admiringly into the garage at that Emerald Mica Miata sitting next to my Graphite Metallic PT Cruiser.....geez, they both just look stunning! And it's all thanks to Gary and www.perfectautofinish.com

OK, seriously....for about the price of the so called "good stuff" at your local autoparts store, and WAY cheaper than the super high end products like Zaino (which I have personally used and like quite a bit) you just can't beat Gary's line of pro grade products. Ease of use, quality of shine, great price. What more could you possibly want?

I use Gary's stuff also.It just works.Had a problem with an order,
UPS put the wrong zip on and it went to AZ.Gary emailed me about the
problem and even called me to make sure I got the order. You can't beat that for service.[^]

DITTO! Garys products are absolutely the best. I've tried lots of different ones over the years and I wouldn't even think of using anything else. [8)]

If you are talking about Prestone Heavy Duty Silicone Car Wax & Cleaner, buy it here: http://www.midwayautosupply.com/deta...ption.asp?4586
$3.99 plus shipping

Prestone® High Protection Wax, synthetic wax with carnuaba, is available at Kragen, Wal*Mart, and Pep Boys.

Locally available waxes, non-abrasive and won't stain your trim:
Meguiar's Mirror Glaze #16 Professional Paste Wax
Meguiar's #26 Hi-Tech Yellow Wax
Meguiar's NXT Generation Tech Wax
Mother's California Gold Natural Formula Pure Carnauba Wax
S100 Paste Wax (available at most motorcycle dealerships, like Harley-Davidson)
Eagle One NanoWax

If there's a local auto body/paint/detailing supply shop near you, ask for:
Auto Magic #79 Awesome Gloss (synthetic wax/sealant, good durability and gloss/shine. Compares favorably to the more expensive boutique wax/sealants without the high price).

Yeah Gary, I know, I need to post some pix, but I have to take them first! If it doesn't rain this weekend I'll get some up then.

By the way, I have to tell you that I am always impressed every time I see that pic of your right front corner, no matter how often I see it. The shine on everything - paint, chrome, rubber - is just awesome. You do an amazing job on that beautiful car of yours!
