Default How do we get word out?

I read the thread on car wax recommendations and I'm flattered. I know just about everyone that has used my professional products is impressed. I almost feel embarassed by the compliments. How do you think we can spread the word other than what we are doing here so people know what I'm trying to do. My goal is to make affordable professional detailing products available to the novice at wholesale. Your comments are my motivation. Read the next post on "Won't sell out" I think you will find it interesting. Gary

Gary , how about throwing in a couple of business cards
with our orders. That way we can hand them out when people
ask where we get our detailing products.

Don't feel embarassed--[u]feel PROUD</u> as you sell an outstanding product line (even if you didn't put a picture of the "Seamist Green CruzN Machine" on your 24-oz. spray bottle of Ultimate Professional Poly Seal that has cost you (according to market surveys) at least 10% in profits. [B)] []

Hope you received many new customers [|)] [^] from all those business cards and flyers I passed around at the first annual Northwest Regional PT Cruiser Event held at Mossyrock, WA, last May that was attended by more than 175 cars from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, California, and British Columbia, Canada. However, I wouldn't know [:I] since I haven't received any commission checks in the mail. []

Here is a picture of my car after the "Mossyrock Police Chief hauled me to jail" for questioning because I was handing out Perfect Auto Finish flyers without a permit! [:0] [?]

I frequent a couple of other forums for my other cars ('92 Camaro & '99 Miata) and both of them have Car Care sections. I haven't mentioned your products to them yet because I wasn't sure if you really wanted to expand the business that way. I somehow got the impression that you were selling the product line to the PT community almost exclusively because of your involvement with the PT. If I'm wrong I'd be more than willing to talk you up at those places. Get ready for a big traffic increase to your website, and you just might have to cave in and set up that e-commerce website you and I discussed several months ago!

You have GOT to have online sales! Paypal, credit cards, etc... printing out a form and sending a paper check just won't cut it. And, also having a Flash site that is a bit hard to upgrade with new products (where is the chrome sealant?) is not good also. I know we can "write it in" but you are not giving the consumer a "warm and fuzzy". If you are serious about "getting the word out" it's time to embrace the medium. Even an Ebay store would be preferable to your website. Just my two cents.

Mike, true I do cator the Cruiser people for obvious reasons. as far as other forums, its a time factor, I wouldn't have to post on other forums besides this and my web site. Cruzzur/ I understand where you are coming from, but to be honest, as a approach retirement age I want LESS stress not more. Doing the pay pal and credit cards is a headache from what I'm told. Maybe its better for all concerned I just stay small, and take care of the Cruise community. chrome sealer on web site, hey you said it, adding stuff in flash is a pain. Gary
