Default AHHHHH....my car is so dirty...I hate it...

It rained here 2 weekends in a row and then I was out of town last weekend so it has been 3 weeks since my last wash. Rain and dirt have turned my car into a filthy mess. It is dark when I go to work and dark when I get home. I really don't want to put my car through a car wash but what else can I do?

What happened to this past weekend??? It was nice and sunny here in SoCal - why didn't you wash it then? I managed to clean up just fine after getting the usual grunge from the drag strip on Saturday, and still had time to enjoy the nice weather on Sunday in the Miata.

OK, OK, whatever happened, your baby is still dirty. At the very least hit one of those coin operated do-it-yourself bays, and just knock the worst of it off. Do a proper job this weekend. You'll sleep better. Trust me.

Hang on just a couple more days......I know it's difficult, but the forcast is for clear sky for the next 10 days. You can do a killer detail job on Saturday and enjoy your spotless car for the next week at least!

Man, you California guys have it easy. Here in Georgia, a layer of pollen, dirt, and dust will fall on the car between the wash and wax stage. Not to mention avoiding pine tree sap, the millions of crows and pigeons, the oak trees with their awesome acorns, road tar, red Georgia clay, the polluted air, AND the annoying drivers who throw cigarette butts and half-drunken drinks out of the window. I think I may get on 20 and head west.

LOL! Hey you guys have it easy! Here in NYC, we have everything you complained about in Georgia (except the awesome acorns and red clay) and high real estate prices![B)] Plus, let's not forget on going road construction, pot holes the size of Yugos, warped streets, seagulls, alot of rain in the past year, and oh wait ... I think I smell the snow coming! [:0]We've already had frost a couple of times, and some wet snow upstate. One of the reasons why I agreed to goto Florida with my girlfriend for a week next month to her cousin's wedding!

Don't I know it! I grew up outside Detroit, spent the first 30 years of my life there. There's a two week period in September or October when the leaves are turning that I really miss. And, well, yeah....that's about all!! Never did like the snow much, although I did finally learn to ski after moving to SoCal. I actually went mountain biking in some killer canyons near the coast in the morning, perfectly comfortable in shorts and cycling jersey, and hit the slopes at night. Kinda hard to beat, ya know?

LOL! It's funny how you learned to ski after you left Michigan! I've been to Michigan, kinda liked it. Crossed into Canada for a day while I was there too. Anyway, you guys have it all right in Cali. By the way, I thought the song went, "It never rains in Southern California ..." [:I] [^]
