Pics/ 280SL CLASSIC

Here are pics I promised to post of the 280SL I detailed with my new buffer. Process was wash/clay bar wash again/dry. Paint cleaner with polish using the DeWalt DA, paint seal by hand. I was told this car is going for BIG bucks, 1971 with 13,500 miles. It rides ok, but I would take a Corvette anyday. (same price?)

Gary, once again a beautiful job on a gorgeous car.

But you guys have it all wrong.....this baby and a Vette are both great machines, but they are so different that you can't compare them. They serve different purposes but both can provide their own special enjoyment.

That's why I love all kinds of cars, from Italian exotics to pure American Muscle to funky little British classics like the Lotus Europa, and even modern luxury machines like the Bently Continental GT. None of these are interchangeable, but if I had the means I'd own a couple of every genre and enjoy them all.

Kinda like back in my single days....blonde, brunette, redhead....did it really matter?????
