Default how to remove microscratches?

I have just starting to notice light scratches on the hood.
Probably came from drying the water with a towel.
So is there a way to remove these myself or is it a job for the
pros?[:I]

depending on the severity of the damage you may need a machine and some cutting compound. if it is minor, you might just get away with a paint cleaner applied by hand which has a much milder abrasive. Less is more in this case so start with the cleaner and see how it works.

Try clay barring as per Gary's instructions on his web site. Always seems to do the trick

Dev, Rallyrock hit it right by using a paint cleaner first. Claying is good, but it won't help for the scratches. Cleaners/compounds work defects "IN" the finish. Claying removes contaminants "ON" the finish.Gary
