Apologies for posting on a subject that has already been discussed, but common wisdom says that we shouldn't use Armor All since it can dry out the vinyl over time. What is a good alternative to use? My PT is actually garaged, but I just picked up a used Dodge Stratus which will be kept outside & it has a much larger area of vinyl to take care of. Plus I want to keep the vinyl on the PT in good shape as well. Thanks in advance.

Ben, Armol all was on the wrong end of a class action law suit some years ago because of what you just said. They had a chemical unbalance in their formula that made leather/vinyl dry out and crack. That is why you need to be educated when buying chemicals. Like Gonzo said, my ultimate dressing won't harm vinyl in any way. actually it will restore life and add UV protection to your vinyl. You can use it on leather, but I suggest using a conditioner on leather so it can get in the material and restore the oils. Think of dressing for vinyl, molded plastic, and rubber. Gary

Gary, I didn't realize you had a dressing that addressed the issue. I gotta get to your website anyway to order a 2nd. wafffle weave, so I'll order that too. Thanks.
Ben
