Sometimes you can't help it,and are forced to wash your car in the sun. The problem with that is you may get water spots on yur glass. I have a solution. Use my chrome/glass sealer BEFORE you wash the car, allow it to haze on the glass, when you water down the car, the glass won't be affected at all. after you dry, simply wipe the haze off the glass, no water spots, and your galss will be sealed. pretty cool. Great tip, Gary. Speaking of water spots, what do you think of that Mr Clean AutoDry car wash system? I've been using it and it does seem to eliminate water spots, even in the sun. The idea of microfiltering the final rinse water does make sense and I figure if I can avoid drying with a towel it's less work and less chance of scratches.
Phil

I have been using it since it came out on three cars. I have no complaints on this product at all. I hate to dry a car plus you dont have to worry about scratching the paint when you dry...A very good product...the new model called the PRO has more features like different water spray levels...

Rain X now has a product similar to Mr. Clean but I haven't tried it yet. I the like Mr. Clean kit. Works great on glass too.

Got mine from checker for 20 bucks. My windows still spot pretty bad, so i dry them. The thing i like most about it is that it eliminates the bucket in the car wash.
