Default Wax & Detail products.

Like to pass this information on, if I may. If you ever get a chance to try a wax or detail product, make by a company in San Diego called showstopper, I highly recommend it. If you like more information go to www.showstopperwax.com Just tell Larry (aka Mr Wax) Roger sent you. best dam wax out there bar-none. If you like proof, go to www.cruiserquarterly.com & ck out my pt on current spring issue cover.

Seems like some good stuff. I also see that on a product or two it has DuPont in it. DuPont have been making a nice new line of products lately. I have been using three of them and I think they are great. I also might add the price is very good too!
The only thing I don't like about the website you listed is that there are no prices until you fill out the order form, that really sucks. He should make the pricing more easily accessable.

Remember that no matter how much (or how little) you spend on wax 30 days of protection is what you get on a daily driver. One of the things that my customers like when I detail their car is I put on a synthetic for no extra charge. They would rather have 6 months protection. I'm sure this wax is nice, but after trying the $800 wax from Zymol, I'v seen it all. Gary

Quite honestly I can't see a Cruiser going for six months and not waxing the car. Store it for the winter like some Cruisers OK, but for the daily driver I just don't know.

Thats where the poly seal comes in, its a "refresher" for the sealant. Use it once a month for optimum performance. Gary

So basically, your re-doing the car monthly just as you would if you were using wax[:I]

So its like a quik detailer. So what do you do, just wash the car and once a month apply the poly-seal? I use quik detailer almost every other day. Bugs, finger prints, crap and so on.

IMHO, it's more than just a "quick detailer". It actually deposites a light coating of "paint sealant" on the car's surface (further protects/enhances the finish) and should only be used after washing the car. Just wipe on and wipe off--do not let it "set" like with paint sealant or car wax. A quick detailer can be used (without washing) to remove dust and light road film/dirt from the a car's surface to keep it looking good. I'll let the expert on the subject, turbomangt, respond so all receive correct information on the subject.

No you don't have to use it once a month, its optional. I have many customers that are perfectionists. so thats where the poly sela comes it. besides it takes about 1/6 the time of applying wax. just spray and wipe. unlike the spray and shine, this products has protective properties. Please shake before use to activate the chemicals.
