What of someone put a cooler full of crabs in your car and the coller leaked?
Not my car, but someone I know......her car smells of dead crabs. What should she do? |

My wife has one of those carpet shampo machines with a hand attachment for furniture. My son uses it for his cloth seats in his car and it works great. I use it for the carpets and mats in my car and it works great. Along with the cleaning solutions they also sell pet deoderlizers. My local car wash has a carpet cleaning machine, cost a few bucks, worth a try. I think with a couple of washings the smell would be gone. For now she could just spray the inside of her car with a citrus spray until she has time to work on it.

The best thing I've ever found is a product called "Nature's Miracle." It can be found in any good pet store. Just follow the directions on the bottle. It works with enzymes that break down the organic compounds in the spill so it takes a few days to work completely. It works great on pet "accidents" and I've used it successfully on a friend's car upholstery that was starting to stink from spilled milk. I've never tried it on "carb juice," but it's sure worth a try.

While searching for those cures, used fabric softener - it'll help, won't hurt, and probably have some on hand.
And I thought from the title the question was going to be about shaving...[ )]

qsd, I thought along the same lines at first!. Quick story here. I was just married, 19 yrs old, lived in NJ and the drinking age was 21. Naturally I couldn't buy alcohol, but my wifes sister could. There was a catch though. She had the crabs but was to embrassed to get the needed medicine. Cure, get the underage drinking fool to buy it for you in return for the much needed alcohol!!
What could I say but "sure" |

Make sure you keep it aired out until treated. Mythbusters did a test on bad odors (dead pig). They weren't able to get it out. [:I]

Getting back on subject, I was thinking the airing out route but you could end up with every cat in the neighborhood partying in your car ![]() |

antiickypoo. Got to love the name. Funny thing is, when I took one of the mutts to the vet yesterday low and behold, antiickypoo for sale! I have a cat that likes a peticular corner, if you know what I mean, I'll have to pick some up and give it a try. Can't hurt.
