Default Wipers

Unfortunately the original wipers cost more than 50 euros in Greece , so I'm searching the after market.

Do you guys have any suggestions?

Wipers performance is largely dependent on the condition of the windshield. They should be replaced seasonally which no one ever does.does so unless you live in a severe weather area shop for the least expensive wiper you can get. Clean your windshield and wipe the new blade with alcohol and you will be go to go the rainy season.

Aah, you're from Greece ! I simply bought Bosch wipers, I guess you will find these in Greece too. Original is not necessary, after market are often better.

Now I'm not sure if these are available over there, but I've run many different types of wiper blades on my PT since I first purchased it. This year I purchased some that were a bit more expensive, but they seem to work better than any others I've ever purchased. Every spring I've replaced mine and I bet these ones last two years minimum.

Now, I tend to drive fast, mainly because I'm a maniac but also because I love driving my PT on what I call "Roller Coaster Roads". All over the area where I'm working are these lovely winding roads that are like running through the mountains, and I love hitting those roads and pushing my PT to the limit on the curves. So, I wanted a good set that have an aerofoil build, so that the faster I go, the tighter they hold to the glass. So I purchased a pair of Trico Onyx high speed performance blades. They are friggin fantastic! Last year I had put the RainX blades on both my car and my wife's van and they didn't even last a year! They shredded on her van, and on mine they wouldn't lie down flat against the curve of my windshield.

Here's the site: TRICO Onyx: High Speed Performance | TRICO®

They are available in many auto parts stores. Here's a picture of them:

Now this photo is a set of the Trico Onyx blades for a Jaguar in the UK:

Thank you all.

@Chromenut. With just a glace in their site, I didn't find a dealer in Greece, I have to look at the stores, which is rather difficult, considering that they generally ask for 30 to 50 euros a pair!!!!!!

I made the order here

22/16" INCH AERO FLAT WIPERS FIAT IDEA 04+ PANDA 03+ | eBay

plus one more 21'' & 21'' pair for my wife's PT. He made a 2 pound discount on total, so I' ve got them both pairs for 14 pounds, (approx 19 euros), delivered to Athens.

Installed them today, they all fir perfectly. Now, only time will tell if they last.

Yes, they are available here, (at the price I said before).

For some unknown reason, EVERYTHING is more expensive here. I mean everything.
Petrol is about 1,7 euros per liter.
Diesel, about 1,45
LPG more than 1
Milk, about 1
Bread also...

There is NOTHING we can buy at reasonable prices. Except the sunshine, which is free.
There are times that I blame myself for staying here. I should have left when I was young.

Thanks for all the help again.

Well, Greek friends here in Belgium say that too many young people are leaving Greece which will lead to an even bigger crisis in the near future.

I paid about 33 euro for the Bosch wipers, but I don't care cause together with tyres the wipers have to perform perfectly.
And I change my wipers only when needed, on my Civic the stock are still on it after almost 3 years and 52000 km. I usually do at least 3 years with my wipers cause I clean them at every car wash.
