Guys, if the immobilizer inside the key, stops working, is there any emergency procedure to follow, in order to start the motor?

None that I'm aware of, and none listed in the OEM service manuals. Maybe someone here knows of something, like hot-wiring the car....

On a side note the PT cruiser is the #3 most stolen car in Europe just saying :-) |

Im not sure where i read this but one method was to insert the key put into the run position, disconnect the battery,(taking note of the radio code) re connect the battery remove the key and the start as normal but a i say i am not sure this is correct but worth a try.
