Default Ground Distribution Bar?

Hi,

Can anyone tell me where in a PT Cruiser 2004 Diesel model is the Ground Distribution Bar that all the ground cables will be going to.

I have a wiring diagram that says they are behind the center of the dashboard.

Unfortunately I have pulled the entire dashboard out and I cannot find it.

Thanks

oh lol thank you.

Do you know roughly where I should be looking under the hood? Is it near the fuse box/Powertrain module?

Thanks

Your battery is under passenger seat, right? Ground cable ought to be good size diameter - can't follow where it goes?

Hmm, I thought the ground cable would just be fixed to the chassis somewhere.

There would then be a ground distribution block or metal plate or something with all the other ground for everything such as Radio, Instrument Cluster, Remote Keyless Entry etc....

A wiring diagram says this is behind the dashboard.

If I am wrong then please let me know as I've spent a day trying to locate this with my car in bits!

Thanks

Yes, but the ground would have to connect to the minus (-) terminal on the battery - It, too, has to connect to ground bar.

Just for your info, my battery is under the air filter, at your right hand as you open the hood.
